For every 17-year-old student in Malaysia, with no doubt, SPM is one of the most important event of the year. Okay, maybe not ALL of them, but at least for those who care about their future and for those who want to get on in life, it is extremely essential. Well, at least that is what I think.
As a non-government school student, SPM is as important to me as it is to any of my friends from other government schools. The way my school treats SPM really annoys me, they take it too lightly, as if the only thing important to them is the Senior 3 UEC, other than that, everything is garbage.
SPM trial starts on this Saturday, and I hope I could get some good results, so that I could get out of this living hell asap.

Triple Triumph
Last friday, I went to Sunway University College with my brother for the prize-giving ceremony of the My Success My Dreams blogging contest. I was awarded the 2nd prize and the announcer said that there was only a 30 votes difference between the champion and I, anyway, I'm still quite happy with the result. An 800-word-essay for an iPod touch, RM500 cash prize and RM220 vouchers, ain't bad, huh?
On the second day, I went to Taylor's University College Lakeside Campus along with my partner and two of my friends who also manage to enter the finals for the Videologue Competition. We did a so-so presentation in front of the judges and the audiences (I was kinda nervous facing so many people in front of me). In the end, it turned out that we were the 2nd runner-up and the other team was the 3rd runner-up. The prizes for us was an iPod Nano 4th generation with 16gb of memory each while the two of them got a pen-drive each.
Today, I went to school and got to know that I was awarded the 1st prize in the school's Creative Writing Competition.
Three prizes in a row, now, that was really unexpected.
By the way, exam starts on this Thursday, and I'm not fully-prepared yet, really feel kinda nervous. Anyway, I will still try my best!!!
